Neverness to Everness roll guide: How does gacha work in this game?

The gacha system in Neverness to Everness uses a unique, interactive “Scarborough Fair” board game style.
Instead of a “standard pull” animation, players use Solid Dice (limited banner) or Fabricated Dice (standard banner) to roll and move a character piece across a game board.
Every tile the piece lands on provides a reward, such as upgrade materials, currency fragments, or equipment. It includes exclusive rewards like car and glider skins.

A major highlight of this system is the complete removal of the 50/50 mechanic. On limited character banners, any S-Class character you land on is 100% guaranteed to be the featured unit.
The gacha mechanics feature a 0.99% base S-Class rate, increasing at soft pity (70 rolls). At this point, the board transforms, adding guaranteed S-Class tiles. Hard pity is reached at 90 rolls, where you’ll be rewarded with the character automatically.
Meanwhile, the weapon system (Arcs) uses Tri-Keys and guarantees a high-rarity item every 60 pulls.

For new players, the best strategy is to hoard your Solid Dice specifically for limited-character banners rather than spending them on the standard “Fabricated” board.
Since NTE guarantees an S-Class character, your pulls have significantly higher value, so it is wise to only commit to a banner when you have enough dice to reach the soft pity threshold of 70.

How to get free S-Class Esper Chiz

Chiz is a free S-class Cosmos main DPS who uses Fons-based mechanics.
Her basic attacks generate Grain to boost her damage. Her skill features three rapid charges, each scaling in power based on her current Grain levels.
Obtaining Chiz does not require any gacha pulls. Instead, players can recruit her by leveling up the City Tycoon side activity.
Advancing through these urban management systems eventually grants the character for free including her level 6 awakening.
