I hope you’ve taken and saved pictures of Pikachu riding Lapras because the once iconic statue that greets you at the entrance has been replaced entirely by new symbol — Legendary Pokemon, Solgaleo who is joined by Pikachu standing against a visual of Singapore’s skyline.

The Pokemon Sun mascot is a Psychic/Steel-type Pokemon introduced in Generation VII alongside its counterpart Lunala. It evolves from Cosmoem and is part of the “Light Trio” with Lunala and Necrozma.

The official store logo also sees Solgaleo alongside Pikachu giving a warm welcome to visitors.

“We chose Solgaleo — the Legendary Pokemon recognizable by its sun-like mane — as our new symbol because we want this store to be more deeply rooted in Singapore,” said Shunsuke Sasaki, Managing
Director of Pokémon Singapore.

“This marks a new chapter for us in Singapore. This is not just a grand reopening, but a commitment to elevate the store experience by transforming Pokemon Center Singapore into a place where people from all walks of life can come to love Pokemon, and where fans can connect globally.”

What’s new at the Pokemon Center Singapore

The biggest change at the Pokemon Center Singapore is the addition of a new event space at the rear.

Featuring a large-format monitor setup, the space is designed to host events focused on video games, the trading card game (TCG), and mobile app gaming.

Located at Jewel Changi Airport, Pokemon Center Singapore hopes to serve not only local fans, but also regional and international visitors who come from around the world to battle, trade, and connect.

New Pokemon Center Singapore exclusive merch

In celebration of the grand reopening, new and exclusive commemorative merchandise will be released.

The artwork reimagines Pokemon living in Singapore’s cityscape, featuring plushies and merchandise inspired by the iconic kopi cup.

There are a total of 20 new unique products sold exclusively at the store. The first 12 go on sale during the reopening. The remaining eight, which includes a bag charm of Pikachu and a cup of kopi, will be released in August.
