Lion City Faire is shaping up to be one of Singapore’s most imaginative new fan events—and for fans of Baldur’s Gate III, it just became unmissable.
Headlining the festival’s inaugural run is Theo Solomon, best known as the voice behind Wyll Ravengard, the conflicted warlock whose story of sacrifice and moral tension became one of the game’s most beloved arcs.

He won’t be alone—joining him are internationally recognised cosplayer KNITE, alongside local talents Kiyo and Ruri.
Set in the mythical world of Tumasik, the event draws from Singapore’s regional history and folklore, reshaping familiar fantasy tropes through a Southeast Asian lens. Expect elves and mythical beings reinterpreted through local myth, and even a fresh retelling of the Merlion’s story woven into the experience.

Across the grounds, Lion City Faire leans heavily into immersion. Performers, storytellers, and actors populate the space as original characters, offering:
- Side quests
- Interactive narratives
- Longer-form LARP experiences lasting up to 90 minutes
For tabletop fans, there’s a dedicated TTRPG corner run by local studios—an easy entry point for those inspired by Baldur’s Gate III to roll their first dice.
Families are well catered for too, with free entry for children aged 12 and under, plus activity zones like the Adventurer’s Guild.

Teens can step into hands-on experiences such as Historical European Martial Arts workshops led by Bastion HEMA, while adults can explore over 100 vendors at Merchant’s Alley or dive into paid workshops ranging from leathercraft to miniature painting.
And when the sun sets on Day 1, Lion City Faire shifts tone. A special night program extends the festivities beyond 6pm, featuring stage performances from Drew Pictures and Opera Tang—giving adult attendees a reason to stay deep into the evening.
Of course, no Faire is complete without food. Lion City Faire partners with six local vendors, offering a spread that includes halal and vegetarian options.

Costumes are encouraged (though not required), and given the setting, expect a refreshing mix of fantasy attire and local-inspired outfits—with prizes on the line for the best dressed.
