Decades later, the franchise returned with a visually stunning CG reboot from Studio Orange titled Trigun Stampede, which premiered in 2023 and reimagines the story for a modern audience.

Both Madhouse’s classic Trigun, along with its stunning modern reboot by Studio Orange, follows Vash the Stampede, a seemingly goofy, donut-loving pacifist who wanders the harsh desert planet preaching love and peace — only to be relentlessly hunted for a catastrophic crime he barely remembers.
