Co-showrunner Joe Tracz said the team’s goal is to “scale it all up,” promising bigger production design, more action, and a faithful continuation of Oda’s world.

One Piece live action season 2 covers major storylines from the Arabasta Saga, including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island. These arcs mark a turning point in the crew’s adventure as they encounter giants, dinosaurs, and massive sea creatures while learning what it means to survive in the Grand Line.
The main cast returns with Inaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Joining them in One Piece Into the Grand Line are Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday and Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, both debuting as new characters in the second season.
In season 1, Luffy sets out to become the Pirate King and find the legendary treasure known as the One Piece. He recruits Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji to form the Straw Hat Pirates. Together, they defeat Marine Captain Morgan, fight Arlong and his crew, and free Nami’s village from oppression. The season ends with the Straw Hats setting sail for the Grand Line.
The live action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s popular anime and manga series was developed in partnership with Shueisha, the publisher behind the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine where One Piece originally appeared. The series is produced by Tomorrow Studios and Netflix, the same team behind the first season’s global success.
One Piece follows Luffy, a young pirate with the power to stretch his body like rubber, as he sets out to find the One Piece. Along his journey, he builds a crew of loyal companions, each with their own dreams and skills.
Season 1 of the One Piece live action series is now streaming exclusively on Netflix.
