Columbina Hyposelenia, known as the Moon Maiden, enters the battlefield as a 5-star Hydro Catalyst user focused on powerful Lunar Reaction support.
Her kit allows her to trigger coordinated Lunar Reaction damage even while off-field, while her signature ability, Lunar Domain, boosts all Lunar Reactions with a universal damage bonus and additional effects. These include extra thundercloud strikes for Lunar-Charged, increased resource generation for Lunar-Bloom, and more Moondrift attacks for the new Lunar-Crystallize reactions.
She can also transform Electro-Charged, Bloom, and Hydro Crystallize into Lunar Reactions, and while adventuring in Nod-Krai, even revive a fallen ally—letting the team fight on under the moon’s blessing.

Genshin Impact Luna IV banners – Phase 2

When Zibai is in the party, Hydro-Crystallize reactions triggered by the party will be converted into Lunar-Crystallize reactions.
Zibai can accumulate special energy to unleash her special Elemental Skill, Spirit Steed’s Stride, which deals considerable Geo DMG and Lunar-Crystallize DMG.
When Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam is unlocked, Zibai accumulates the energy required for Spirit Steed’s Stride more quickly when any character in the party triggers Lunar-Crystallize reactions.
Additionally, using an Elemental Skill or triggering Moondrift Harmony increases the Lunar-Crystallize DMG dealt with Spirit Steed’s Stride.

The sword is highly specialized, focusing on the unique Lunar-Crystallize elemental reaction, a special interaction between Geo and Hydro introduced alongside Zibai and Columbina.
Introducing Illuga, the newest 4-star character

New 4-star Geo Polearm support character from the Nod-Krai region, Illuga, also debuts in Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Luna IV in phase two. His gameplay kit is specifically engineered to anchor the new Lunar-Crystallize reaction meta.
His Elemental Burst summons a companion bird named Gale and grants a stack-based buff called Nightingale’s Song, which consumes stacks to provide a massive damage increase to Geo attacks based on Illuga’s Elemental Mastery.
Beyond his raw damage amplification, Illuga is a versatile battery and buffer, offering team-wide CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG bonuses through his passive talents, making him the definitive support for Zibai and other Geo-centric reaction teams.
Understanding the new Lunar-Crystallize reaction
Lunar-Crystallize is a new elemental reaction that occurs when Geo interacts with Hydro under specific conditions that goes live in Genshin Impact Luna IV.
This reaction summons three Moondrifts near enemies, and after being triggered three times, it activates Moondrift Harmony, dealing Geo DMG to nearby opponents with a chance to score CRIT hits.
Genshin Impact Luna IV new artifacts
- Aubade of Morningstar and Moon
- A Day Carved From Rising Winds

Aubade of Morningstar and Moon
Aubade of Morningstar and Moon is designed around steady elemental application and rhythm-based combat, rewarding characters who maintain consistent uptime rather than short, explosive rotations.
Its set bonuses emphasize sustained damage or supportive buffs that scale with ongoing elemental interactions, making it a strong option for characters who remain active on the field or enable teammates through frequent triggers.
The set works best for DPS or hybrid supports that thrive in longer engagements, as well as team comps focused on smooth rotations, reaction consistency, and layered buffs. Compared to more burst-oriented artifact sets, Aubade of Morningstar and Moon favors flow, continuity, and controlled pacing in combat.
A Day Carved From Rising Winds

A Day Carved From Rising Winds boosts Anemo-focused playstyles, with its 2-piece bonus increasing Anemo DMG and its 4-piece bonus enhancing Swirl-related effects by amplifying Swirl damage or granting buffs when Swirl is triggered.
This makes it especially effective for Anemo carries or enablers who remain on-field and consistently trigger reactions rather than relying on quick burst rotations. The set is best suited for Anemo DPS characters, Anemo supports that frequently Swirl elements, and teams built around high reaction uptime and crowd control.
While often compared to other Anemo artifact sets, it leans more toward sustained, active combat presence rather than pure off-field support.
Genshin Impact Luna IV’s Archon Quest story: free Traveler outfit

As tensions in Nod-Krai reach a breaking point, the latest Archon Quest builds toward a dramatic climax.
After claiming the power of the Moon Marrows, Il Dottore pushes his research to dangerous extremes, setting up an unavoidable confrontation with the Traveler and their allies.
Wielding this newfound power, he lures the battle into his warped domain, where reality’s rules are distorted and chaos reigns by design.
Completing the quest rewards players with a brand-new Traveler outfit, shedding further light on their journey and growing mastery of elemental power.
Lantern Rite returns in Genshin Impact Luna IV
Lantern Rite returns with a lively lineup of festivities, rich rewards, and new stories centered on the Adepti. This year’s narrative follows the celestial omens of Zhanzhu the Moon-Devourer, revealing the return of the long-secluded White Horse Adeptus, Zibai, to the mortal realm.
Throughout the event, players can place special Xiao Lanterns around Liyue Harbor, inscribe them with personal wishes to share with others, gather Fortune Coins from Auspicious Treasure Trees to exchange for exclusive rewards, and take part in a variety of festive mini-games.
