The controller’s front design incorporates several specific in-game details. The left grip features Lumine’s Inteyvat flower accessory, and the right grip features Aether’s earring.
The central touchpad is marked with the game’s iconic four-pointed star, a symbol used for Primogems and the wishing animation. The background includes a subtle illustration of the pillars from the game’s login screen.
Flipping over the Genshin Impact PS5 controller reveals an adorable surprise. The back showcases the Traveler’s trusty companion, Paimon. The game’s name is written in a cursive font, surrounded by cute, recognizable icons such as a Hilichurl’s mask, a Primogem, and a smoked fowl.
This limited-edition DualSense controller provides the full PlayStation 5 experience for Genshin Impact players, including haptic feedback for enhanced in-game actions, support for 4K visuals, and lightning-fast loading times.

This limited-edition controller launches in two phases globally. It becomes available in select markets across Asia, including Japan, starting January 21, 2026.
The global rollout continues on February 25, 2026 when it arrives in North America, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Availability and specific launch dates may vary by region.

Pre-orders for the Genshin Impact PS5 controller begin on December 11, 2025. In the U.S., players can secure theirs starting at 10 a.m. EST.
For players in the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, pre-orders start at 10 a.m. local time.
The controller is being offered in limited quantities exclusively through the PlayStation Direct store. When ordering directly from PlayStation, eligible pre-orders receive free launch day delivery.
HoYoverse and PlayStation previously teamed up to introduce Aloy, the protagonist from Horizon Zero Dawn, as a free 5-star playable character exclusive to the platform. They have also offered limited PlayStation 5 starter sets with exclusive digital bonuses in regions like China.
While other Genshin Impact-themed controllers are available in the market, including 8BitDo’s Chongyun controller and Flydigi’s Skirk and Yae Miko controllers, this DualSense stands out as the first official controller collaboration between HoYoverse and PlayStation specifically for the PS5.
Genshin Impact is a popular free-to-play, open-world action RPG developed by HoYoverse. Set in the fantasy world of Teyvat, players control the Traveler who seeks a lost sibling while exploring different element-ruled nations. The core gameplay features exploration, puzzle-solving, and fast-paced combat using a party of characters and their elemental abilities.
The game launched on September 28, 2020, across multiple platforms. Genshin Impact is fully playable on the PlayStation 5 and received a dedicated PS5 version in April 2021.
