Honkai Star Rail version 4.6, “Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise,” takes the Trailblazer into the Life Sciences Institute, where a dangerous plan to weaponize the husk is quietly taking shape.

Phase 1 banner
Pearl headlines the first half of the Honkai Star Rail 4.6 banners. The CEO of Planarcadia is known for cold computational power and rational decision-making.
When the Voracity attacked, she put the planet’s residents on the Astral Express and stayed behind to oversee the encanvasing ritual herself.
In battle, she can spend her Certified Banger to offset part of the damage her allies take. She can also enter a Deep Learning state, studying a chosen teammate’s combat data to unlock an enhanced attack based on it.
If that teammate is an Elation character, Pearl’s enhanced attack deals extra Elation damage to enemies. On a full Elation team, the teammate also gets an extra turn, along with a large boost to Punchline and Certified Banger.

The second half of the Honkai Star Rail 4.6 banners brings Mortenax Blade for a rerun. He works as a hybrid debuffer and sub-DPS, with his damage scaling off max HP rather than attack.

Honkai Star Rail version 4.6’s story
In Honkai Star Rail version 4.5, Nihilux revealed her identity as Aha, the Aeon of Elation. Now she and the Trailblazer head into the Life Sciences Institute, the source of all imagenae in Astropolis, to uncover what’s behind the plan to weaponize the husk.
The institute was built under Madam Yabuli, head of the IPC’s Technology Department. She is now pushing a dangerous plan that would cost every life in Planarcadia, and she’s suspected of ties to a mysterious faction in Astropolis that worships the Voracity.
Pearl uses the recovery of Leviathan Essence as cover to send Kuchiba and Ashveil on a coordinated investigation, joined by the Trailblazer and Nihilux. Along the way, Pearl and the Trailblazer watch “Preservation” and “Art” merge into a single theme.
Honkai Star Rail 4.6 events
Alongside the Honkai Star Rail 4.6 banners, the update adds several new events and features.
Love, Ghosts & Robots has the Trailblazer helping the resurrected Skott run a mechatron workshop. You assemble and sell mechatrons to grow it into a five-star operation.
Interastral Peace Gala: One Take is a large-scale combat reality show event.
The new Astral Imagea gameplay also debuts. In this game mode, Trailblazers can collect multiple Astral Imageas to tag along on their adventures, then team up with friends for the Astral Slammers Squad! co-op challenge.
Two new outfits arrive in the Outfit Show Window, featuring Hyacine’s “Warm Cotton Skies” and Evanescia’s “Lunar Blossoming.”
Honkai Star Rail x Razer and Zenless Zone Zero collaborations
HoYoverse has announced a collaboration with Razer, featuring a Silver Wolf LV.999 line of gaming gear. It includes a gaming chair, keyboard, mouse, and headset, which launches in multiple regions at the same time. Full details will be announced at a later date.
The Zenless Zone Zero crossover also now has confirmed characters and a timeline. Ellen and Astra Yao, from Zenless Zone Zero, join Honkai Star Rail in version 4.8.
