What is Godly Love: On Air? Learn the plot of this BL mobile game

Godly Love: On Air is a BL mobile game set in a world where faith in the old gods is fading. To keep humanity safe from monsters, animal deities have turned to an unlikely method of performing as idols to gather a mystical energy called Aether.

The story kicks off when legendary idol Akatsuki vanishes without explanation. With him gone, Aether reserves weaken and near collapse. A rival faction called Moonshadow seizes the opportunity, rising to power and amassing Aether of their own, bringing more chaos along with it.

To restore balance, the supreme god Cyrus forms a new idol group, Starfire, to stand against Moonshadow. But behind the performances, secrets simmer, and hidden feelings between the idols slowly begin to unfold.

Games like Godly Love: On Air

Godly Love: On Air is similar to other titles Zerowake GATES and NU: Carnival. These BL mobile games have a strong cast of male characters, a mythology-driven story, and romance that unfolds gradually rather than all at once.

Zerowake GATES is set in a post-apocalyptic world where alien-triggered rifts called Gates have torn everything apart, and survivors form intense bonds just to make it through.

NU: Carnival follows a man summoned from another world into a land recovering from the disappearance of its protector, where he builds bonds with the very familiars who summoned him.

Godly Love: On Air follows an angle where gods become idols, using fame to hold the world together.
