T1 top laner Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon is one of the Esports Awards 2025 winners, earning Esports Play of the Year.
T1 Doran topped nominees from the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC), Movistar KOI and fellow top laner Alex “Myrwn” Pastor Villarejo, along with standout players from Apex Legends, Valorant, Call of Duty, and Counter-Strike 2.
The award highlights his 4-man Jax ultimate during the LCK 2025 Season Split 3 match against NS RedForce. He landed Counter Strike on the group, stunned them, and opened space for T1 to clean up the fight and close the game. The play secured a 2-1 win for T1 with Doran crowned Player of the Match.
He went on to deliver strong performances at Worlds 2025, the crowning event of the season and demonstrated even more standout plays throughout the tournament that helped T1 secure the championship.
