Netflix adds fresh faces to the One Piece live-action Season 3 cast, bringing more fan-favorite anime characters to life.

The third season was confirmed during the streaming giant’s first look at Season 2, with production already underway.

Season 3 covers the Arabasta arc, where the Straw Hat Pirates arrive in the desert kingdom of Arabasta, which is on the verge of civil war. They join forces with Princess Vivi to stop the rebellion orchestrated by the criminal organization Baroque Works. This arc features battles against powerful Baroque Works agents and the crew’s efforts to protect the kingdom.

With the story set, here’s a full look at the confirmed One Piece live-action Season 3 cast and the roles they are playing.

Cole Escola as Bon Clay

Cole Escola joins the One Piece live-action Season 3 cast as Bon Clay, a character first seen in the Arabasta arc.

Also called Mr. 2, Bon Clay is part of Baroque Works, a secret criminal group led by Mr. 0. He is known for his flamboyant personality and strong belief in freedom and self-expression.

He ate the Clone-Clone Fruit, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that lets him transform into anyone whose face he has touched. This power made him an expert spy and infiltrator for Baroque Works.

Cole is an actor, comedian, singer, and playwright known for his work in Difficult People, At Home with Amy Sedaris, Search Party, and Big Mouth. He also voices Goldie in Baby Shark’s Big Show! and won a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for Oh, Mary!

The casting fits perfectly as Cole, who identifies as non-binary, portrays Bon Clay, the first canon queer character in One Piece, bringing authentic LGBTQ+ representation to the series.

Xolo Mariduena as Ace

Blue Beetle star Xolo Mariduena plays Portgas D. Ace in the One Piece Netflix series.

Ace is the older brother of Luffy. He is the son of the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, but was raised by Monkey D. Garp alongside Luffy.

He is the captain of the Spade Pirates and is known for his Logia-type Flame-Flame Fruit, which gives him the ability to create and control fire.

Xolo, the actor for Ace, is known for his roles as Miguel Diaz in Cobra Kai and Jaime Reyes in Blue Beetle. Fans have long supported him as a top choice for the role, noting his physical resemblance to Inaki Godoy, who plays Luffy, and their brotherly chemistry.

Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1

Netflix confirms that Awdo Awdo, a South Sudanese actor, plays the role of Mr. 1 in Season 3 of the One Piece live-action series.

Mr. 1 is one of the highest-ranked and most formidable agents in the Baroque Works criminal organization, serving as the right-hand man of Mr. 0. He is a “Full-body Bladed Human” thanks to the Dice-Dice Fruit (Supa Supa no Mi), which allows him to turn any part of his body into sharp steel.

Mr. 1 actor Awdo is a rising talent whose credits include a role in the upcoming Amazon MGM submarine thriller, Subversion, alongside Chris Hemsworth.

Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger

English actress Daisy Head is set to take on another villainous role, playing Miss Doublefinger in Season 3 of the One Piece live-action.

Daisy is widely known as Sofina the Red Wizard from the blockbuster Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, while on Netflix, she previously played roles such as Genya Safin in Shadow and Bone and Judy Talbot in The Sandman.

In One Piece, Miss Doublefinger is a top-ranked female agent within the Baroque Works organization, working closely with Mr. 1. Her combat abilities are granted by the Toge Toge no Mi (Spike-Spike Fruit), a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows her to sprout sharp spikes from any part of her body.

Emilio Sakraya as Koza

Emilio Sakraya joins the One Piece live-action Season 3 cast as Koza, a character who plays a central role in the Arabasta Kingdom storyline.

Koza is the passionate and brave leader of the Arabasta Rebel Army. Childhood friend to Princess Vivi, he leads the rebellion against King Nefertari Cobra, driven by the belief that the royal family is responsible for the devastating drought plaguing the country.

Emilio Sakraya is a German actor and musician best known for his lead role as JC in Netflix’s fantasy warrior series Warrior Nun. He has also starred in the action thriller 60 Minutes, Tribes of Europa, and Rhinegold.

Omid Abtahi as Toto

Omid Abtahi joins the One Piece live-action Season 3 cast as Toto. Also known as “Uncle Toto,” he is the devoted father of Koza and a respected elder of Yuba. Despite the severe, artificial drought orchestrated by Baroque Works, Toto stubbornly digs for water day after day, refusing to lose faith in King Nefertari Cobra or abandon his home.

Omid is an Iranian-born American actor best known for his role as Dr. Penn Pershing in Disney+’s The Mandalorian. His extensive television background includes prominent roles as Salim in American Gods, Howard in Fear the Walking Dead, and guest appearances in series like The Boys, Better Call Saul, and Homeland.

Jamie Ward as Pell

Jamie Ward joins the One Piece live-action Season 3 cast as Pell, one of the primary guardians of the Arabasta Kingdom.

Known as “Pell the Falcon,” he is the head guard of the royal family alongside Chaka and serves as a loyal protector to Princess Vivi. Fiercely devoted to King Nefertari Cobra, Pell is regarded as the strongest warrior in the Arabasta Kingdom.

He ate the Tweet-Tweet Fruit, Model: Falcon, a Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows him to transform into a falcon or a human-falcon hybrid.

Jamie Ward is an Australian actor known for his roles as Father Gomez in His Dark Materials and Lorenzo Calogero in Invisible Boys. He has also appeared in The Durrells and featured in various independent film productions.

Nabeel Khan as Chaka

Nabeel Khan joins the One Piece live-action Season 3 cast as Chaka, one of the two chief guards serving the Arabasta Kingdom.  

Known alongside Pell as the “Guardians of Arabasta,” Chaka is fiercely loyal to King Nefertari Cobra and Princess Vivi. He ate the Dog-Dog Fruit, Model: Jackal, a Zoan-type Devil Fruit that enables him to transform into a large jackal or a human-jackal hybrid.

Nabeel Khan is an actor known for his roles in notable action and drama projects, including the biographical drama film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and the action series The Nowhere Man.
