What is Code Vein 2?
Code Vein 2 (or Code Vein II) is the sequel to the 2019 action role-playing game Code Vein, developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.

The game continues the series’ signature anime-style Soulslike gameplay, which blends high-difficulty combat with character customization and a heavy focus on narrative.
Code Vein 2 introduces the time-travel mechanic into the plot. It’s set in a future world teetering on the point of being destroyed by a phenomenon known as “Luna Rapacis,” which essentially restructures Revenants into mindless “Horrors.” The story follows a new protagonist who works as a Revenant Hunter.

The first Code Vein game was released on September 27, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). It centers on a post-apocalyptic future where the Thorns of Judgment have shattered civilization.
Players take on the role of a Revenant, a powerful being who traded their memories for supernatural Gifts and a survival-driven thirst for blood. The protagonist must battle monstrous “Lost” ghouls and colossal bosses to reclaim their forgotten past and find an escape from their ruined reality.
The original Code Vein launched at number two on the Japanese sales charts with over 60,000 physical copies sold on PlayStation 4 in its first week. The game reached the major milestone of one million copies sold by February 2020, just months after its release.
