The League of Legends World Championship 2025 is concluding its brutal Swiss Stage, and the final eight teams qualified for the Knockout Bracket are locking in.

After weeks of high-stakes best-of-ones and grueling best-of-threes, the field of 16 has been halved, leaving only the truly elite to contend for the Summoner’s Cup.

This year’s quarterfinal bracket features a formidable mix of regional titans and redemption stories. From the dominant LCK and LPL squads to a long-awaited return of the LEC, the quarterfinals promise a week of explosive, winner-take-all Best-of-Five matches.

Every team has earned their place, but only one can secure their legacy in the Grand Final.

Gen.G is the first team to qualify for the playoffs.

TEAMS QUALIFIED FOR WORLDS 2025 QUARTERFINALSQUALIFICATION PATH
Gen.GGen.G defeated PSG Talon in Swiss Stage round one, lost to Anyone’s Legend in round two, and defeated T1 in round three.

With a 2-1 record, they played Top Esports in a best-of-three (BO3) in round four. They swept them 2-0 to book their spot in knockouts.
CTBC Flying OysterCTBC Flying Oyster surprised by defeating Fnatic and T1 in the Swiss Stage.

They then played three BO3s in a row, losing to Anyone’s Legend and Hanwha Life Esports before sweeping FlyQuest to qualify for the quarterfinals.
KT RolsterKT Rolster won their BO1s against Movistar KOI and Team Secret Whales, then swept Top Esports 2-0.

They have yet to lose a single game at Worlds 2025.
T1T1 defeated FlyQuest, then dropped two games straight to CTBC and Gen.G.

They qualified for the playoffs by sweeping 100 Thieves and Moveistar KOI 2-0.
Hanwha Life EsportsHanwha Life Esports dropped their first game at Worlds to Anyone’s Legend. They went on beat PSG Talon, 100 Thieves, and CTBC in BO3.
G2 EsportsThe only LEC representative in the quarterfinals, G2 lost to Top Esports and never looked back.

They were victorious over KOI, BLG, and FLY, winning 2-1 to clinch the playoffs berth.
Anyone’s LegendAnyone’s Legend took down LCK counterparts HLE and Gen.G, then secured their spot with a 2-1 victory over CTBC.
Top EsportsThe LPL 3rd seed Regional Finals winner dropped their first Swiss Stage game to G2.

They won against 100 Thieves before tasting defeat again, losing 0-2 to KT and Gen.G.

They edged out LPL 1st seed and Worlds 2024 runner up Bilibili Gaming 2-1 to qualify for the quarterfinals.
