As the conclusion to the multi-year Metronome Arc, MTG Reality Fracture turns familiar planes on their head, bringing mirrored mechanics, color-shifted legendary staples, and game-warping interactions to the Multiverse.
Positioned as a direct follow-up to Secrets of Strixhaven, Hexhaven’s battlemage colleges are set to reshaped Standard, Commander, and Modern formats alike.

In this MTG spoilers list, we rank the 10 absolute best cards in MTG Reality Fracture, evaluating their competitive meta impact, financial deck potential, and long-term format longevity.
Best MTG Reality Fracture spoilers so far
Hexhaven Invigorator

We’re starting off our list with one of the first spoilers for MTG Reality Fracture: Hexhaven Invigorator. On top of having Vigilance, this 4-mana creature is a 6/6 that allows you to ramp whenever it takes damage.
This mythic synergizes extremely well in any landfall deck, which is already powerful enough on its own. But because it also lets you fetch nonbasic lands, having it up as a blocker gives your opponent a great reason to swing at the other guy in your pod.
Lich’s Relic

Lich’s Relic is a one-pip Artifact spell that also doubles as a very efficient removal spell in Commander tables, as paying two extra mana removes a creature or Planeswalker from each of your opponents’ boards.
While cards like Grasp of Fate temporarily exiles a wider variety of targets, Lich’s Relic takes care of its targets permanently.
This nicely adds versatility in any black voltron deck that benefits from creatures dying (*cough* Vincent Valentine), and can help you save card slots for other MTG Reality Fracture pieces.
Cruel Calculations

Next on our list is Cruel Calculations, a Sorcery that lets you draw a number of cards equal to what a target player milled that turn.
We can see this being a game winner in 1v1 formats, as extra card draw is essential for getting the pieces you need… just don’t overdo it. Mill players rejoice!
Loyal Tutor

Reality Fracture introduces the latest deck-searcher in Loyal Tutor, an efficient 1-mana Instant that gets you the Planeswalker you need.
It’s the first of its kind, making it a worthwhile mention, especially since tutors have historically held up value-wise. And with the set’s heavy focus on Gatewatch, this’ll make your Planeswalker decks all the more consistent.
Draconic Visitor

Draconic Visitor adds Artifact support in mono-red with a 5/5 Dragon that replaces artifact tokens with dragons.
Pairing this with a Myr Battlesphere, a Smothering Tithe, or a token doubler can help you take over the board, making it fantastic for infinite artifact loops and commanders like Breya, Etherium Shaper.
Vigorbloom Charm

Out of all of the MTG Reality Fracture spoilers revealed so far, Vigorbloom Charm stands out as the most versatile spell. It lets you fully protect a creature, draw a card and proc lifegain triggers, or buff a creature to remove a weaker enemy target–all for two mana.
This charm is an absolute must-have for Selesnya players and an efficient card for any deck with white and green colors.
And due to its rarity, we should see decent supply hit the secondary market before long.
Flickering Hound

Flickering Hound is a white, 4-cost 2/2 that “blinks” a target creature whenever you cast a creature spell.
This delightful counterpart to Displacer Kitten closely matches its power level, and can be extremely useful in creature-focused decks that care about “enter the battlefield” (ETB) effects.
Top synergies include:
- Derevi, Empyrial Tactician
- Helga, Skitterish Seer
- Whitemane Lion
- Shrieking Drake
- Aang, at the Crossroads
Hall of Echoes

Hall of Echoes is a highly versatile nonbasic land that becomes a copy of any creature on your board.
For five mana, at any time, you can get around the legendary rule, copy a big creature on your board, or stack attack triggers for twice the value, making this MTG Reality Fracture spoiler a huge surprise.
Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun

Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun is a 2-mana Human Wizard that give your instants and sorcery spells “split second”, which prevents anyone from adding any more spells or non-mana abilities on the stack.
This means that for as long as Samut is on the field, all of your nonpermanent spells are untouchable; counterspells, tutors, game-enders like “Finale of Devastation.” It’s arguably gamebreaking, and it’s a MTG Reality Fracture spoiler that no one saw coming.
Every set typically comes with fun, new keyword mechanics that change Magic: The Gathering in impactful ways. See some of the biggest additions that came out earlier this year in another in-universe set: Lorwyn Eclipsed.
Teferi’s Reproach

The best MTG Reality Fracture card you should look out for is Teferi’s Approach, a 3-mana Instant that can keep an opponent from a game-winning turn.
Reproach allows you to choose a target opponent and phase them out, along with all permanents they control. Doing so keeps them from swinging with lethal on the board, stalls their “Thoracle” combo, disrupts self-targeted effects (e.g., Peer into the Abyss), and more.
This essentially buys time for you and/or the rest of the table to come up with a solution, or a win of your own.

All in all, Reality Fracture’s cards promise high-impact play and a wonderful shake-up to today’s meta.
I love seeing the design teams give in-universe blocks the treatment they deserve, and with what they’ve shown us so far, Reality Fracture promises to continue the streak of powerfully deep Magic sets.
