Getting people from all walks of life onto The Same Page isn’t always easy, but a shared tabletop game creates the perfect space for authentic connection.

A youth-led initiative creating safe spaces where people from diverse communities can openly share their experiences without judgment, their first event, The First Page, was held at Proud Spaces in May 2026. There, participants played social deduction games and discussed the topic of “othering”.

About The Same Page

The Same Page is a youth-led ground-up initiative with the objective of creating safe third spaces where people of diverse communities and demographics can share their unique experiences openly without judgement.

The organization does so by hosting sessions where participants play board games, followed by a discussion on a topic related to the board game.

The organization believes its sessions should be as accessible and inclusive as possible, so sessions are open to all, aged 18 and above—regardless of race, language, religion, sexuality, nationality and gender.
