Dying Light: The Beast

The latest entry in the Dying Light franchise, launching on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 19, sees the return of Kyle Crane as the main protagonist. Following years of experimentation by The Baron, Kyle is a unique hero—a blend of survivor and beast.

Players can switch between these two playstyles in a thrilling mix of open-world and action survival horror, forcing them to decide whether to run, hide, or fight.

Besides playing the game, visitors who brave the Castor Woods Tourist Center can find information and merchandise, capture a unique memory at the photo booth, and win a voucher for a burger at Bober’s Burger in the outdoor area.

Dune: Awakening

Gamescom attendees will get to experience different scenarios and gameplay elements that have made Dune: Awakening a hit globally. Visitors can further immerse themselves in the Dune universe by getting up close with a giant Sandworm emerging from beneath the booth, alongside other on-site activations.

Exoborne

Currently in development for PC and console, Sharkmob’s tactical open-world extraction shooter Exoborne pits squads of three against rival players and, uniquely, the deadly forces of nature. Tornadoes, lightning storms, heavy rain, and violent updrafts are more than visual flair—they are unpredictable threats that fundamentally reshape combat, movement, and survival.

Customizable Exo-Rigs unlock dynamic movement and verticality while offering powerful abilities that let players adapt to the constantly changing chaos. Those brave enough to step into the storm at Gamescom can experience Exoborne firsthand through hands-on gameplay and other exciting activities throughout the show.
