Shion Hori in SEGA Football Club Champions 2026 leads the latest version 1.2 update, which is now live across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and Steam.
Released on March 26, 2026, the update introduces a brand-new Dice Event, a special login bonus campaign, and various gameplay improvements and bug fixes.

New Assistant Shion Hori in SEGA Football Club Champions 2026
A major highlight of the update is the addition of Shion Hori, who won last year’s “Pick an SFCC Assistant” voting campaign on the Japanese version’s X account.
Shion Hori is a passionate football supporter who enjoys visiting stadiums nationwide and trying stadium food, acting as a symbolic “12th player” supporting the team.
How to Change Assistants
- Open the drop-down menu in the upper-right
- Select Other → Assistant Selection
- Alternatively, switch assistants from the Career Mode save selection screen
New Assistant Debut Login Bonus – Up to 8 Rewards
To celebrate her arrival, a New Assistant Debut Login Bonus is available from 18 March to 18 April 2026, 11:59am GMT+8.
By logging in over 8 days, players can earn up to 8 Training Card Boxes (New Assistant Debut).
Each box can be exchanged for one of the following Training Cards:

Dice Event now live – earn rewards through board gameplay
The new Dice Event runs from 18 March to 31 March 2026, and introduces a board game-style system where players use Dice earned from missions to progress.
Dice can be obtained by completing objectives in Career Mode and Dream Team Mode, encouraging regular gameplay across both modes.
How it works
- Use Dice to move across the board
- Land on different spaces with unique effects
- Collect rewards based on where you stop
Board Spaces
- Reward Spaces – Grant items instantly
- Roll Again Spaces – Earn another turn
- Advance Spaces – Move forward additional tiles
- Kick the Target Spaces – Trigger a minigame
The Kick the Target minigame allows players to pick 3 out of 9 tiles to uncover hidden rewards, including:
- Prime Scouting Tickets
- Training Card Packs
- GB and other valuable items
Players can also use the Multiplier function to consume more Dice per roll and significantly boost rewards earned from each space.
