Zenless Zone Zero 2.7, titled “Champions Never Fall to the Past,” brings players into the first-ever Hollow Champion competition.
The event gathers familiar allies like the Cunning Hares and the Sons of Calydon, while also welcoming unexpected challengers such as the Public Security’s Metropolitan Order Division.
Alongside the competition, players will meet new characters Nangong Yu and Cissia, take part in themed activities at the Simmer Hotpot Restaurant, and explore updates to the Simulated Battle Trial.

Cissia abilities
Cissia of the Metropolitan Order Division is also joining the Hollow Champion competition. She brings a distinctive combat style to the battlefield.
As an S-Rank Electric Attack agent, she begins battle with three stacks of Venom, each dealing Electric damage while temporarily boosting her CRIT Rate.
Although these Venom stacks gradually fade over time, Cissia can generate more through her EX Special Attack. Once enough stacks are built up, she can consume them with her Basic Attack, Serpent’s Kiss, unleashing powerful bursts of damage at key moments.
Nangong Yu abilities
Alongside Cissia, the Angels of Delusion will also enter the fray, led by their captain and lead dancer, Nangong Yu.
As an S-Rank Ether Stun Agent, Nangong Yu boosts her team’s Anomaly Buildup Rate when attacking Stunned enemies. During battle, she gradually regenerates Downbeat over time, with additional Downbeat gained whenever a squad member triggers Anomaly on enemies.
After building up enough Downbeat, Nangong Yu can unleash powerful charged attacks that extend an enemy’s Stun duration while accelerating her own Stun and Anomaly buildup, creating opportunities for teammates to land devastating follow-up attacks.
Her Ultimate activates Ether Veil: Delusion Reprise, increasing the entire squad’s Attack.

In addition to these new characters, S-Rank Ice Rupture Agent Yidhari and Electric Attack Agent Seed will return in Version 2.7.

Proxies can also unlock an exclusive faction wallpaper by collecting all members of Angels of Delusion.

As the Hollow Champion competition spreads across New Eridu, the excitement reaches far beyond the city center.
Even the Outer Ring is buzzing as competitors gather in pursuit of high-stakes rewards, including the rare Porcelloy W-Engine and the prestige that comes with victory.
The tournament has attracted not only familiar allies of the Proxies — such as the Cunning Hares and the Sons of Calydon — but also unexpected challengers like the Public Security’s Metropolitan Order Division.
Rumors circulating through the streets suggest that former Calydon Sweepers may also enter the competition. Among the shadowy figures rumored to appear is the infamous Black Wolf Romeul.
In combat, Romeul can deploy a Corruptive Barrier that boosts his CRIT Damage Resistance and Interruption Resistance while steadily draining opponents’ HP.
Teams that can apply sustained Anomaly damage will be able to break through this barrier more effectively, adding a new tactical challenge for those daring enough to face him.

The lively Simmer Hot Pot Restaurant in Lumina Square takes center stage in its own themed event. Proxies can lend Blaze a hand with her latest predicament while participating in a playful hot pot–themed activity.
