Spy x Family is a popular Japanese action-comedy manga and anime series that follows the story of a makeshift family, each member of which is hiding their true identity from the others. It showcases espionage with charming slice-of-life comedy, revolving around the themes of found family and the challenges of maintaining a chaotic, yet genuine, domestic life under extreme secrecy.

The story centers on Twilight, the Westalis’ greatest spy, who operates under the alias Loid Forger. His most critical mission, known as Operation Strix, requires him to infiltrate an elite school to get close to the Ostanian politician, Donovan Desmond. To achieve this, Loid must create a convincing “fake family.”
