PokePark Kanto opening date
PokePark Kanto officially opens on February 5, 2026.
The Kanto region is the first region introduced in the Pokemon series and serves as the setting for the original Red and Green games. It is based on Japan’s real-life Kanto area, which includes Tokyo and its surrounding metropolitan region.
Pokemon’s Kanto region introduced the first 151 Pokemon that launched the franchise, including Pikachu, Eevee, and the starter trio Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
PokePark Kanto shares its name and concept with PokePark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure, a 2010 action-adventure game for the Nintendo Wii. In the game, players control Pikachu as he explores themed zones, befriends other Pokémon, and completes challenges across a vast park.

The PokePark Kanto theme park brings this concept to life, recreating the feeling of exploring Pokemon habitats and interacting with the creatures up close.
Pokemon is a Japanese media franchise created by Satoshi Tajiri, developed by Game Freak, and published by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. It began with the release of Pokemon Red and Green for the Game Boy in 1996. The series follows trainers who capture and train creatures called Pokemon to battle and compete.
