For fans eager to dive into the Low Tide in Twilight anime, the viewing method is a little different from standard releases. This project is being rolled out as a special, supporter-focused release rather than a traditional broadcast or streaming debut.

The animation will be available through a Video Package Set sold on the Soyomo platform. After purchasing the package, viewers will be able to stream the episodes via a dedicated Soyomo viewing page.

The production team is aiming to release the animation approximately four months after the pre-sale ends. There are currently no plans for a major streaming platform release, at least for the 2026 year, they added.

More details on pre-sale dates and step-by-step instructions will be announced first through the project’s official X Soyomo account, so be sure to follow it and stay tuned for updates!

One of the biggest concerns among international fans has already been addressed by Soyomo. The Low Tide in Twilight anime will not be region-locked, allowing global viewers to participate regardless of location.

To make the release even more accessible, subtitles will be available in English, Japanese, Thai, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, in addition to the original Korean audio. This ensures fans worldwide can experience the story as close to the source as possible.

Episode count, runtime, and release window

Season 1 Part A focuses on the emotionally charged opening arc of the story, adapting Webtoon Episodes 1 to 12.

Part A comprises a total of five episodes, each with an approximate 10-minute runtime, carefully structured to preserve the tension, atmosphere, and character dynamics that made the original work so impactful.

The release is currently expected to take place around four months after the pre-sale period ends. The adaptation will remain faithful to the original tone and content, carrying a 19+ rating.

Low Tide in Twilight (Korean title: 물가의 밤, often translated as Night by the Sea or Waterside Night) is a Boys’ Love omegaverse manhwa created by Euja, who serves as both the author and illustrator.

The series is known for its emotionally heavy storytelling, mature themes, and distinctive art style, which helped it stand out in an increasingly crowded BL webtoon space.

The manhwa began serialization on Bomtoon in 2021, where it quickly gained traction and rose through the platform’s rankings. Over the course of its run, Low Tide in Twilight accumulated over 34 million views, maintaining a long-term presence near the top of Bomtoon’s charts.

The Low Tide in Twilight manhwa concluded its main storyline in 2025, ending after more than 100 episodes released across multiple seasons.

Following its success in Korea, Low Tide in Twilight expanded internationally through digital distribution and licensing deals. In 2025, Seven Seas Entertainment announced that it had licensed the series for English-language print release. Volumes are already starting to roll out in 2026.
