Get ready, APAC! The LCP 2025 Season Finals (League of Legends Championship Pacific) is heading toward its thrilling conclusion with the Season Finals, culminating in an epic weekend at the Tien Son Sport Center in Da Nang, Vietnam, on September 20-21, 2025.
After a scintillating Mid Season that saw peak viewership soar past 483,000 during the CFO vs. GAM Finals, the stakes are higher than ever. Teams are fighting not only for regional glory to be crowned the first-ever LCP champion, but also for one of three coveted spots at Worlds 2025.
The Season Finals kick off on July 26 and run through September 21. Here is your essential guide to the format, the prize, and the path to history.
LCP 2025 Season Finals format: a two-phase gauntlet
The LCP Season Finals is divided into a rigorous Regular Season followed by the Playoffs.
Phase 1: Group Stage (July 26 – August 10)
Teams are divided based on their performance in the Mid Season Regular Season:
- Contender Group (Top 4): CTBC Flying Oyster, GAM Esports, PSG Talon, and Team Secret Whales.
- Breakout Group: The Chiefs Esports Club, DetonatioN FocusMe, Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming, and MGN Vikings Esports.
Teams within their groups will play a Single Round-Robin Best-of-3 (BO3) to determine seeding for the next phase.
Phase 2: Group Seeding Bracket (August 15 – August 24)
This phase introduces a “Group Reshuffle” via a Group Breaker:
- Contender 4th Place faces Breakout 1st Place.
- Contender 3rd Place faces Breakout 2nd Place.
- The winners join the reshuffled Contender Group; the losers join the reshuffled Breakout Group.
Following the reshuffle, teams compete in a double elimination format within their new groups. Crucially, all teams from the Contender Group advance to the Playoffs, while only teams with two wins from the Breakout Group will move forward.
The Grand Finale: Playoffs (September 5 – September 21)
The six remaining teams will battle through a double elimination bracket featuring both BO3 and BO5 matches. The winner lifts the trophy, secures the title of inaugural LCP champion, and all top three teams lock in their slot for Worlds 2025.

Schedule and tickets for LCP 2025 Season Finals
Catch the action live across two major venues:
- Regular Season & Playoffs (July 26 – September 14): Held at the LCP Arena. Tickets go on sale at 12pm GMT+8 every Wednesday, one week before each match weekend, available via the KKTIX website or FamilyMarts across Taiwan. Tickets are sold per Match Day.
- Finals Weekend (September 20 – 21): The climactic conclusion takes place at the Tien Son Sport Center in Da Nang, Vietnam.
Changes to promotion and relegation in LCP
Immediately following the Season Finals, two Guest teams will fight to keep their spots in the promotion and relegation tournament. Held at the LCP Arena from October 1-4, 2025, this event pits the bottom LCP teams against the best from domestic APAC leagues for a chance at promotion.
