Isekai Office Worker: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter (Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai in Japanese) originated as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2018.
It was later published as a light novel series written by Yatsuki Wakatsu and illustrated by Kikka Ohashi, starting in 2019, published by Enterbrain.
A manga adaptation by Kazuki Irodori began in 2020, and the anime adaptation was produced by Studio Deen in January 2026.
The Isekai Office Worker anime follows Seiichirou Kondou, a 29-year-old workaholic accountant who is accidentally summoned to the Romany Kingdom alongside a high school student intended to be the “saint.”
