About Dragon Quest VII Reimagined
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is a full remake of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, originally released on the PlayStation in 2000 (2001 in the West).
The original game was known for its massive scope, slow-burning story, and island-hopping structure, making it one of the longest and most content-rich entries in the series. It later received an enhanced Nintendo 3DS version in 2013, which introduced quality-of-life improvements, visual upgrades, and streamlined progression.
This new reimagined edition builds upon those foundations with a complete modern overhaul, featuring updated visuals, refined combat, and improved user experience while staying faithful to the original narrative and world of Estard. It aims to deliver the definitive version of this classic RPG for both longtime fans and newcomers discovering the adventure for the first time.
