HoYoverse fans, the wait is almost over! The Petit Planet closed beta for their first-ever cosmic life simulation game, officially called the “Coziness Test”, starts on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Petit Planet is the publisher’s debut in the life sim genre that focuses heavily on social and multiplayer gameplay, turning the galaxy into a lively place.
Inspired by its official slogan “Weave Your Dreams Beneath the Stars,” this game turns entire planets into creative canvases, inviting players on an idyllic and adventurous journey as you befriend distinctive Neighbors and fellow kindred spirits.
What type of game is Petit Planet?
Petit Planet is a simulation game where your main task is to nurture and cultivate your very own world, forging connections with other planets across the starry sky.
As you start on your planet, you can invite fuzzy Neighbors to connect their own Planettes to yours. As these bonds deepen and your world flourishes, the planet’s vitality, known as Luca, will shape unique landscapes and brim with life.
Life here is all about creativity, companionship, and exploration. You can cultivate crops and receive unexpected harvests under the stars, fish in crystalline waters, comb the beach for rare catches, and unlock tasty new recipes through bold ingredient mixes.
As your curiosity guides your daily activities, your bond with the Neighbors who settle on your planet also deepens; they all have their own stories and dreams that contribute to the planet’s growth. When you embark on Starsea Voyages to unexplored Islets in your vehicle, these Neighbors become your most reliable companions.
How to get into Petit Planet closed beta
During the Coziness Test, players will be able to gather at the Galactic Bazaar, a bustling social hub where you can make new friends, grab a coffee, or sync your dance moves to cheerful melodies in cooperative rhythm mini-games.
The Coziness Test for Petit Planet will be available on PC and iOS starting November 7, 2025. Sign up now on the official website planet.hoyoverse.com. Note that only a limited number of players who successfully complete the survey will be selected to receive access.
