Gundam Barbatos Lupus has officially joined the battlefield in Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2, as Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia rolls out a new update introducing the powerful mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.
To celebrate its arrival, players can participate in the Gundam Barbatos Lupus-Guaranteed Step Up Lottery, which allows them to obtain Gundam Barbatos Lupus Lv. 1 along with its primary weapon. In addition, a Token Pack featuring VR Operator Orga is now available for purchase.

Gundam Barbatos Lupus Step Up lottery details
The Gundam Barbatos Lupus-Guaranteed Step Up Lottery runs for one week from Thursday, March 5, 2026 to Thursday, March 12, 2026.
Key rewards in the STEP UP lottery include:
- Step 6 – Primary melee weapons for Gundam Barbatos Lupus
- Step 7 – Guaranteed Gundam Barbatos Lupus Lv. 1 and its primary ranged weapons
Obtaining these weapons allows players to freely choose which equipment to use, giving more flexibility when deploying the mobile suit.

Custom Parts Step Up lottery
Alongside the mobile suit banner, a Custom Parts-Guaranteed Step Up Lottery is also available. This lottery includes parts designed to complement the performance of Gundam Barbatos Lupus.
Guaranteed rewards include:
- Step 2 – Composite Frame [Type-B] Lv. 1
- Step 3 – Burn Efficiency Aux Device Lv. 1
These parts are optimized for the specifications of the new mobile suit. The Custom Parts Step Up Lottery runs until March 19, 2026.

Gundam Barbatos Lupus is a 4-star ground/space raid unit with a Cost of 700.
The mobile suit comes equipped with three unique skills:

These abilities reinforce the aggressive melee-focused playstyle associated with the Barbatos series.
Selectable weapons for Gundam Barbatos Lupus
Another standout feature of Gundam Barbatos Lupus is its customizable primary weapon loadout, allowing players to tailor the unit to their preferred combat style.
Primary ranged weapons
You can choose between two options:
- Arm 200mm Cannon – Offers rapid-fire capability and strong stagger build-up
- Arm Rocket Cannon – Features shorter range and no rapid-fire, but delivers extremely high damage per shot
Primary melee weapons
Two melee choices are also available:
- Sword Mace – No combo attacks but delivers a wide attack range
- Twin Maces – Shorter attack range but enables stronger combo potential
Spring Is Here Campaign rewards
The Spring Is Here Campaign is currently running for the PlayStation version of Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2.
Players can receive several bonuses during the campaign period, including:
Login rewards
- Qubeley Lv. 3
- ZZ Gundam Lv. 3
- FAZZ Lv. 4
Players can also perform a free daily lottery to obtain 2-star or higher mobile suits once per day.
Another ongoing event boosts post-battle rewards. Changes include:
- Container discovery rate increased from 10% to 50%
- After discovering three Bronze Containers, the next container is guaranteed to be Silver, Gold, or Platinum
This significantly improves players’ chances of obtaining better rewards after matches.
What’s more the Token Pack featuring VR Operator Aina, voiced by Kikuko Inoue, has also returned for sale during the campaign period from now until Thursday, March 26, 2026.
