The Honkai Star Rail 4.0 banners are part of the latest version 4.0 update, “No Aha at Full Moon,”.
The epic Amphorean journey comes to an end as players head into Version 4.0, where the Trailblazer arrives at Planarcadia, Aha’s playground — a brand-new world ruled by clout, where its people quite literally “amuse themselves to death.”

This update marks the beginning of a year-long Trailblaze storyline centered on Elation, setting the stage for an all-new interstellar adventure.
Beyond Planarcadia, the Express Crew will later travel to the Interastral Peace Entertainment headquarters, Astropolis, where a new chapter of exploration and discovery awaits.
Alongside the new world, Yao Guang and Sparxie join the Trailblazer as new companions.
Version 4.0 also brings a stacked lineup of returning limited 5-star characters. In addition, Black Swan and Sparkle are receiving buffs, offering players more consistent and powerful combat support for the journeys ahead.

Honkai Star Rail 4.0 banners: Complete list of characters
Previously heard only within the storyline, but never seen until now, Yao Guang is finally making her official debut.
As the senior soror to the familiar Fu Xuan, she serves as the Xianzhou Alliance’s crucial divination advisor during moments of crisis. To the people of the Xianzhou, she is revered as “Madam Yao,” a goddess of fortune who resolves disasters and delivers good omens through her divinations.
A Physical character on the Path of Elation, Yao Guang manipulates the flow of battle using Weal and Woe Lots. Weal Lots increase ally Elation and grant the team Punchline stacks when she uses her Skill.
During an Aha Instant, she casts Woe Lots, causing enemies to take increased damage while restoring Skill Points for the team.
Her Certified Banger buff allows allies’ attacks to deal an additional instance of Elation DMG, with further damage if a Skill Point is consumed. Additionally, Yao Guang’s Ultimate not only grants Punchline to the team, but also immediately triggers an extra Aha Instant, boosting All-Type RES PEN for all allies.

Phase 1 version 4.0 runs from Friday, February 13, 2026, for three weeks, likely until Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Note that the official date has yet to be announced at the time of writing.
*For version 4.0 only, Yao Guang is available throughout the entire version in both Phase 1 and 2.
Phase 2
Sparxie is another limited 5-star Fire character on the Path of Elation.
Resembling the familiar Masked Fool Sparkle, she is the hottest streamer in Planarcadia. Within the storyline, Sparxie makes her debut alongside Sparkle, delivering an unexpected surprise for the Trailblazer.
In combat, Sparxie embraces her streamer persona by opening a livestream room, engaging enemies in a live upvote showdown.
Players can continuously consume Skill Points to send random “Gifts” to Sparxie, which regenerate varying amounts of Skill Points or Punchlines for the team.
The more Skill Points spent, the more Punchlines are gained, and the higher the damage dealt during the final settlement.
During an Aha Instant, Sparxie launches a lively lucky draw that deals massive damage to all enemies with multiple bounces. While in the Certified Banger state, every Gift triggered during the livestream showdown will deal additional Elation DMG to a random enemy upon settlement.
Additionally, Sparxie’s Ultimate also inflicts extra Elation DMG.

Improvements to Black Swan and Sparkle
Limited 5-star characters Black Swan, Evernight, and Hysilens, along with Sparkle, Cerydra, and Rappa, will appear in Warp events during the first and second halves of the version, respectively.
At the same time, Black Swan and Sparkle will receive enhancements: Black Swan can further boost the overall damage output of DOT teams, while Sparkle’s support effects will now apply to Elation DMG, increasing the damage potential of Elation teams and providing players with more reliable combat support for their upcoming adventures.
