However, while pity carries over between Chronicled Wish runs, Fate Points reset when the banner ends.

Genshin Concert 2026 is back, but there’s a catch — fans may want to read the fine print before buying tickets.

A new unofficial, fan-organized Genshin Impact Symphonic Band Concert is happening on Thursday and Friday, June 11 and 12, 2026 at 7:30pm the Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore.

It promises an emotional musical journey through Teyvat, featuring iconic tracks from the game’s beloved soundtrack.

According to the event description, the concert will deliver an authentic symphonic recreation of Genshin Impact’s music, performed live by a professional wind symphonic ensemble. Fans can expect arrangements of some of the game’s most recognizable pieces, including tracks inspired by regional styles.

But here’s the important detail: this concert will be performed by a symphonic band, not a full orchestra.

Symphonic band versus orchestra: why it matters for Genshin music

At first glance, the difference might seem minor. Both orchestras and symphonic bands can deliver large-scale, cinematic performances. However, they are built from very different instrument groups, which can noticeably change how a piece of music sounds.

A traditional orchestra — the format used for most of Genshin Impact’s official recordings — is centered around string sections, including violins, violas, cellos, and double basses. These instruments provide the warm, layered foundation that defines many orchestral soundtracks.

A symphonic band, on the other hand, focuses primarily on woodwinds, brass, and percussion. While some concerts may include a few string instruments, the emphasis is typically on instruments like flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and tubas.

Because of this difference, music originally composed for orchestra can sound quite different when performed by a symphonic band. The online performance featured music from the game’s soundtrack performed by the Flanders Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dirk Brossé, bringing the sweeping orchestral compositions of Teyvat to fans around the world.

Following its success, HoYoverse continued expanding the concert series with additional annual performances and special shows. Over the years, the concerts have grown beyond online broadcasts into live symphony tours and regional performances, allowing fans in different cities to experience Genshin Impact’s iconic orchestral music performed on stage.

The update came directly from Aquaria, a combat designer for Genshin Impact, during the third day of the festival on January 3, 2026, held at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center.

Addressing the lack of public updates since the project was first announced in 2022, Aquaria assured the audience that the collaboration with the animation titan ufotable is far from abandoned.

He explained that the team typically develops content for “shorter” version updates over six months, while major “longer” versions require roughly a year and a half of production.

A new 4-star character, Jahoda, an Anemo Bow wielder, debuts in version Luna III. She specializes in providing exceptional team-healing and possesses the unique ability to absorb Elements, dealing corresponding damage.

New Hexerei characters mechanic

Version Luna III delivers a major expansion centered on Hexerei characters, empowering select characters tied to the Hexenzirkel. By completing Alice’s “Witch’s Homework”, players can elevate Durin, Venti, Klee, Albedo, Mona, Razor, Fischl, and Sucrose into Hexerei characters.

Each quest explores a unique storyline for its character, unlocking special abilities and altering their Constellation effects.

If a party includes at least two Hexerei characters, the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect activates, granting a substantial boost to overall combat performance. For instance, Venti—an Anemo Archon deeply intertwined with the Hexenzirkel—reclaims a hidden power through his quest. When Stormeye is active, his Normal Attacks transform into Windsunder Arrows, piercing targets and potentially extending Stormeye’s duration.

Players can review all enhancement details using the new gadget, The Little Witch’s Dictionary. After finishing the prerequisite quest, they can also freely invite Razor, Fischl, or Sucrose to join their party.

All Version Luna III events

Version Luna III is headlined by the event “Soulblazers’ Snowbound Journey,” which brings players back to Dragonspine.

Through winter-themed minigames, players can earn rewards including an exclusive 4-star weapon, “Rainbow Serpent’s Rain Bow,” Primogems, and other resources.

Back in Nod-Krai, players will find more stories and interactions with the Dameselette awaiting them in Silvermoon Hall. Additionally, the Envisage Echoes challenges will be updated to include Klee’s and Albedo’s echoes as new rewards.

The Genshin Impact Duolingo collaboration is a partnership between HoYoverse, the developer of the popular open-world game Genshin Impact, and the language learning platform, Duolingo. This event encourages Genshin Impact players to explore the Duolingo app to earn in-game rewards.

To participate and qualify for rewards, players must download and actively use the Duolingo app within the collaboration window. This period runs from December 8, 2025, 12 a.m. UTC to December 27, 2025, 11:59 p.m. UTC.

This event features several recognizable characters from both platforms. Duolingo’s mascot, Duo the owl, joins the world of Teyvat alongside familiar 5-star characters, including the General Mahamatra, Cyno, the Forest Watcher, Tighnari, and the Traveler’s ever-present companion, Paimon.

The Genshin Duolingo collab 2025 quest requires users to opt-in and then successfully maintain a three-day streak within the Duolingo app. You can join the quest through two methods:

Joining Duolingo Genshin Impact quest after a lesson

1. Finish a lesson in any language course on Duolingo.
2. Look for the pop-up screen labeled “Genshin Impact Quest.”
3. Tap “Join the quest” to officially enroll. Your progress toward the required three-day streak begins tracking automatically.

Joining Genshin Duolingo collab 2025 via the Quests tab

1. Go directly to the Quests section of the Duolingo app.
2. Find the Genshin Impact Quest listed there.
3. Tap “Join the quest” to enroll.

Players must opt-in and join the Duolingo Genshin Impact quest by December 25, 2025, 11:59 p.m. UTC to allow sufficient time to complete the challenge. Opting in after this cutoff date is not be possible.

If the streak is broken before the three-day goal is reached, the player is unable to restart the quest. While Duolingo offers Streak Repair and Streak Freeze items, these do not count toward the required progression.

A Streak Repair does not restart participation after a broken streak, and a Streak Freeze does not add to the three required days. Only active lesson completion advances the quest progress.
