Each time you reach 100 tech, they prototype new Anima Weapons. You can take them or save your tech to get more powerful weapons next time.

Anima Weapons can be used on any champion, but they are particularly effective when paired with specific Anima units. Anima builds on learnings from high risk traits in previous sets while enabling the flexible play that made 16 so successful.

Dark Star

Dark Star units are so powerful they can create Black Holes. They create a large Black Hole on the side of the board that consumes enemies at low health.

As you go up in the trait, your strongest Dark Star unit goes Supermassive and gets even more bonuses from the whole trait.

Stargazer

Stargazers chart a different constellation every game that determines the hex pattern that will empower allies in different ways.

As you level up, more hexes in the pattern are revealed.

There are 7 constellations to play, each with different effects. One of the Stargazer units, Lulu, even changes her spell depending on what constellation is chosen that game!

Factory New

Unique 5-cost champion Graves has a Factory New trait allowing you to select a permanent upgrade for him every few rounds.

At first glance, a vehicle-heavy season pass might largely resemble acquiring more collectibles, like how a child loves receiving additional toy trucks to play with.

However, the Year 1 pass completely shattered that expectation by introducing game-changing production chains that’s just as massive as the industrial aquaculture systems of the Highlands Fishing Expansion and the heavy-duty logistical power of the Mercedes-Benz trucks. These fundamentally change how you operate and monetize your farm.

When you combine these massive Year 1 gameplay shifts with the new quality-of-life improvements and specialized machinery rolling out in Year 2, the passes transform the base game into a much richer experience.

Rather than just padding out your garage with shiny new models, these add-ons offer a ton of deeply integrated, dynamic content. Ultimately, investing in the season passes provides a massive wave of fresh gameplay that will easily keep dedicated players busy for hundreds of hours as they continue to expand their agricultural empires.

League of Legends Lead Gameplay Designer Matt “Riot Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison posted a preview of the LoL patch 26.07 notes on X on March 24, 2026 and more detailed notes on the following day, March 25.

A few patches ago, the team discussed reducing the downsides of the support quest as a way to simplify the role. That direction is now being taken even further, with this patch removing negative constraints entirely.

This change could open the door to some unconventional strategies, Riot Phroxzon acknowledged. However, that approach comes with a clear trade-off—any gold or resources taken by the support will deny the bot carry’s quest progression.

The goal is to observe how players adapt and whether the system holds up, while keeping a close eye on any unintended or game-breaking interactions that may emerge.

LoL patch 26.07 champion buffs

Riot Phroxzon notes: the buffs target two areas are where Cassiopeia excels — her initial mana pool, which helps her in early all-ins when she lands Q, and her maxed E, which reinforces her identity as a sustained DPS champion.

Since Kalista had fallen off significantly in priority in pro play, she can now be buffed for regular play. The focus would be on increasing the power in her core area, specifically her E damage.

The same goes for Rell, who is absent in pro play. “Her initial ultimate damage will increase her threat in early all-ins, while her E will allow her to fulfil more of her mobile horse identity,” Riot Phroxzon wrote.

LoL patch 26.07 champion nerfs

Veigar was in a slightly strong spot for regular mid lane play, but was performing too powerfully in the bot lane, particularly in regular play. The nerfs are aimed at his ultimate ability, which remained at Rank 1 in the bot lane for much longer than in solo lanes, the game devs revealed.

“Singed is looking a bit too strong in especially normal play. While this nerf looks like a bit of a meme, we expect it matters more than expected on paper just due to the number of stats impacted when ult is active,” Riot Phroxzon added.

LoL patch 26.07 champion adjustments

Shyvana initially launched a bit overtuned, but the subsequent hotfix has brought her into a much healthier and more balanced state, Riot Phroxzon wrote.

There is currently an unintended interaction between Shyvana and Sylas that the team plans to address with a micropatch. Due to overlapping passive effects, Sylas is effectively double-dipping on Shyvana’s on-hit damage, resulting in unusually high attack values.

At the same time, the developers are continuing to assess Shyvana’s viability in the top lane. The goal is to determine whether Top Shyvana can be meaningfully supported as an off-role pick without negatively impacting her core identity and satisfaction as a jungler.

Alongside these adjustments, there are planned changes aim to enhance the satisfaction of her passive, reduce MMR skew, and introduce more counterplay—particularly around her E.

Instead of clear milestones, players are stuck in long stretches of incremental gains, with little sense of achievement along the way.

This also makes it harder to compare progress with previous seasons, where benchmarks like 1000 LP or 2000 LP carried clearer meaning.

At the same time, many are calling for some form of Apex Rank reset — though what that actually means varies widely across the community.

LP gains controversy: Why some players get +30 and others don’t

Another major pain point is the perceived unfairness in LP gains. Some top players are currently gaining +30 LP per win while others are stuck at around +20, creating a sense that catching up is impossible.

With only a few hundred Challenger and Grandmaster players in many regions, compromises are unavoidable. This can include autofill, role mismatches, or even pulling in Master-tier players to fill games.

That said, Riot claims over 90% of matches are still statistically fair, with roughly equal chances of winning, thanks to improvements in matchmaking algorithms.
