Expedition in the Red Sea rift: A new narrative chapter unfolds
Season 4 expands the destination “Red Sea Rift,” offering players two distinct engagement paths.
Brave the challenge of three new story Dungeons or explore the uncharted expanse controlled by a mysterious force.
Rewards are earned through exploration experience and solving puzzles scattered throughout the region. Dynamic world content, including Frontline Events and Public Events, will also provide additional challenges for fireteams.
Core gameplay evolution: Free content and new challenges
This season introduces player-friendly updates alongside rich new content. All new Mythic characters, starting with hero Efrideet, can be unlocked for free by completing their dedicated events.
Three classic Destiny 2 Exotic weapons and a new Mythic weapon series will also expand your arsenal.
In gameplay, the second original Gauntlet Onslaught raid, Great Hunt, will arrive in early April. Players can challenge the boss in Njorun Lair and complete speed runs for exclusive rewards.
Two new 3-player cooperative Strike missions join the lineup, alongside additional maps and content updates across multiple modes.
For veterans, “Operation Cordon” and “The Expanse” receive new highest-difficulty tiers, ensuring fresh challenges for experienced players.
Comprehensive experience overhaul
Destiny Rising Season 4 also introduces systemic optimizations for a smoother overall experience. The previous Pinnacle Energy restriction has been removed, allowing unrestricted access to all game modes and improving overall quality of life.
For newcomers, early progression has been streamlined with accelerated experience gains and reduced chapter task burdens.
Veteran players will see the level cap raised to 90 and a new Paragon Board system providing a deeper endgame progression path.
Additionally, the new Season system helps players track and plan progress, while revamped weapon and artifact systems offer more customization options.
