Avatar fans, the wait is over! Ubisoft has just dropped From the Ashes, a gripping new expansion for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Set in the rugged Kinglor Forest and the newly unveiled Ravines, this expansion adds a fresh, darker twist to Pandora’s Western Frontier. And yes, it’s out the same day as the global release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, so your journey continues straight from the big screen.
Available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and PC (Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam), this expansion promises an unforgettable experience for both longtime players and newcomers.
Introducing So’lek’s path of vengeance

At the heart of From the Ashes is So’lek, a battle-hardened Na’vi warrior facing one of Pandora’s deadliest threats: the Mangkwan raiders, also known as the Ash Clan. These are not your typical enemy clans – this is Na’vi versus Na’vi conflict at its most intense.
Years of rivalry with Wukula, the Ash Clan’s fearsome leader, come to a head as old scars and vendettas resurface. And just when you think things couldn’t get more dangerous, Zari enters the scene – a sniper trained by Recom Lyle Wainfleet, blind in one eye but lethal with her human weaponry, stalking So’lek from the shadows. Aerial assaults from Rakx’s ikran only add to the chaos.
Experience combat in From the Ashes like never before
This expansion takes combat to another level. Na’vi-versus-Na’vi battles push you to think tactically, facing enemies with unique fighting styles that make every encounter feel personal. Wukula’s relentless pursuit, Zari’s deadly precision, and Rakx’s aerial strikes all keep you on your toes.

RDA forces aren’t taking a backseat either. New units like hellhounds, Skel suits, and specialized AMP variants (RPG, sniper, shotgun) create chaos across ground and air battles.
Combine this with enhanced traversal options and the ability to switch between first and third-person perspectives, and Pandora feels more alive – and more dangerous – than ever.
Expanding Pandora’s story
From the Ashes isn’t just about action; it deepens the lore of Pandora. Major Tyler Bukowski returns from Avatar: The Gap Year — Tipping Point, leading the RDA-Ash Clan push into the Western Frontier and directly clashing with So’lek’s resistance.

According to Omar Bouali, Creative Director at Massive Entertainment: “From the Ashes is raw and personal. It puts So’lek face-to-face with enemies who know his history and how to exploit it, while giving players the broader combat variety they’ve been asking for.”
Joshua Izzo, EVP of Franchise Development at Lightstorm Entertainment, adds: “It invites fans to experience the Ash Clan’s rise and its impact across the Western Frontier. We’re excited for Avatar fans to dive into untold stories after watching Avatar: Fire and Ash in theaters.”
