Ubisoft is celebrating three decades of its iconic mascot with the release of the Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition.
Developed by Digital Eclipse and Ubisoft Montpellier, this definitive collection is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Ubisoft Store and Steam), as well as Ubisoft+.
Digital versions lead the launch, with a physical Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition scheduled for select regions in June 2026.
Ubisoft releases commemorative Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition
This release is a massive compilation featuring five different historical versions of the original 1995 game, including PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color.

The standout inclusion for collectors is a never-before-playable SNES prototype, a lost version of the game that has been unavailable to the public until now.
The Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition package includes the original adventure across worlds like the Dream Forest and Band Lands, plus 120 additional levels from various bonus packs.
To make the challenging 90s platforming more accessible, Ubisoft has added modern features like a 60-second rewind, infinite lives, and an invincibility mode.
Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition also features a reimagined soundtrack by composer Christophe Héral, who has faithfully updated the game’s original music.

Beyond the games, the edition includes an interactive documentary featuring over 50 minutes of new interviews with the original developers. This digital archive contains never-before-seen concept art, early sketches, and design documents detailing Rayman’s origins.
About Rayman
Originally released in September 1995, Rayman was created by designer Michel Ancel. Although it became a breakout hit on the Sony PlayStation, it was originally developed for the Atari Jaguar.
The story is set in the Glade of Dreams, a whimsical world where nature lives in harmony until the villainous Mr. Dark steals the Great Protoon, a mystical orb that maintains the world’s balance.
The 2D side-scrolling platformer is known for its vibrant, hand-drawn art style and great difficulty. The protagonist is a limbless hero with floating hands and feet, a design that allows him to punch enemies from a distance and use his hair as a helicopter to glide.
Throughout the journey, players rescue kidnapped creatures called Electoons and gain new powers from Betilla the Fairy.
Since its debut, the franchise has spanned over 45 titles, but this edition marks the first time these rare, early versions have been unified on modern hardware.
