This partnership makes 1Play the Official Trading Card Partner for the biggest event of the year, the M7 World Championship (M7).

They’re rolling out a multi-year run of collectible M Series trading cards to celebrate the tournament’s history and all the amazing teams that qualify. These aren’t just pieces of cardboard—they feature your favorite M Series teams, star players, and epic tournament highlights.
The goal is simple: to make the MLBB Esports experience even better by giving you a physical way to hold onto and remember the M Series legacy.
The introduction of the official MLBB trading card collection mirrors the long-standing tradition of trading cards in mainstream sports, such as the National Basketball Association (NBA), the English Premier League (EPL), and the FIFA World Cup.
This collection celebrates the game’s competitive achievements, giving fans a concrete way to engage with the M Series, memorialize seminal moments, and recognize the athletes who define its narrative. It extends a respected global collectibles tradition into MLBB Esports, providing the community with a new way to interact with the tournament away from their screens.

Fans will be able to acquire these collections through 1Play’s official channels and participate in various in-person activities, including retail experiences, pop-up shops, card-trading sessions, exclusive onsite drops, and other interactive events at future M Series competitions.
By blending digital access with physical interaction, the partnership seeks to integrate MLBB Esports more broadly into global popular culture through an immersive collectibles experience.
According to Esports Charts, MLBB was the most-watched mobile esports title in 2024, accumulating over 475 million Hours Watched (HW).
The M Series, the game’s premier international competition, serves as the core of the MLBB Esports circuit. It acts as the ultimate stage for the world’s elite MLBB teams, drawing players and fans globally and driving the growth of the game’s global esports ecosystem.

The M6 and M5 tournaments recorded Peak Concurrent Viewers (PCV) of 4.13 million and 5.06 million, respectively. Esports Charts ranked these tournaments as the ninth and sixth most-watched esports events of all time.
With millions of viewers and a seven-year history of competitive excellence, the M Series has secured its position among major global sports and entertainment properties.
Adrian Cher, Global Head of Partnerships, MLBB Esports at Moonton Games, commented that the collaboration with 1Play represents a strategic move to extend MLBB Esports engagement beyond the digital realm and into the daily lives of fans.
He noted that as trading cards gain popularity among younger audiences, this partnership enables the company to connect with the next generation through a medium aligned with their interests. Bringing the M Series into physical collectibles not only enriches the M7 experience but also strengthens MLBB’s stature alongside traditional sports where memorabilia is fundamental to fan culture.

AnJie, Founder & CEO of 1Play, described the company’s focus on creating collectible items that resonate with young audiences and express cultural identity. He stated their goal is to establish a definitive collectible ecosystem for this generation, allowing every fan to document their passion, celebrate their heroes, and collect the most important moments.

Further fan opportunities are planned, including team collaborations, onsite exclusives, signing events, and community-focused gatherings, all aimed at broadening the cultural footprint of MLBB esports.
The M7 marks the return of the M Series to Jakarta, Indonesia, for the first time since the M4 in 2022. Taking place in January 2026, the tournament brings together 22 of the world’s top teams to vie for a US$1,000,000 prize pool. This edition is anticipated to be the largest and most compelling yet, as it takes place in Indonesia, home to MLBB’s most passionate fanbase.
