SURGE Pro League Season 2 is coming back in the second half of 2026, roughly a year after the EMEA Mobile Legends tournament held its first-ever season.
This season is expected to introduce open qualifiers for each major EMEA region, opening the door to a wider pool of teams competing for spots in the tournament.

The overall format of SURGE Pro League Season 2 is also expanding to strengthen regional representation and competitive depth, as stated in a press release from SURGE Europe.
SURGE Pro League Season 2 confirmed for the second half of 2026

SURGE Pro League Season 2 follows a first season that served as a proving ground for teams across four sub-regions:
- Western Europe (WEU)
- Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA)
- Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
- Turkiye
Verso Time from EECA claimed the Season 1 championship, with Aurora Gaming of Turkiye finishing as runners-up.
Extremely Slay and Boars Gaming represented Western Europe, facing more established teams from across the EMEA region.

SURGE Europe co-founder Jaroslav Melisek described the league as the foundation for a broader MLBB esports hub across the region.
“What started as a way to give the WEU region experience with international teams has evolved into the first step toward creating an MLBB Esports HUB,” he said, adding that bringing top teams from each region together generates valuable competitive data for everyone involved.
Vladislav Samokha, EECA Esports Ecosystem Lead at Moonton Games, said SPL represented a step away from isolated regional scenes and toward a connected ecosystem where teams regularly test themselves against a wider range of opponents.
Launched in 2026 as a joint initiative between SURGE Europe and Moonton Games, SURGE Pro League Season 1 featured invited teams including Team Spirit, Aurora Gaming, Verso Time, Team Falcons, FUT Esports, and AXE Okami.
